A panel of expert scientists will discuss and evaluate the revised draft framework and provide direction for finalizing it. In 2005, the same panel of experts met and held a peer consultation on the original draft framework. The authors have revised the framework based on the feedback received during the 2005 peer consultation. The original and revised framework and background materials were prepared by scientists from Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA) and include ideas from several leading researchers in toxicokinetics and physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling. The outcome of this peer consultation will be used to further refine the process of children's risk assessment. Funding for the peer consultation is through a cooperative agreement between the U.S. EPA and TERA. The peer consultation will be a web meeting, using a conference call for the audio, and linking to a web meeting program site for the presentation slides. The web meeting will be on Tuesday, August 21, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be open to the public. TERA has established a website for meeting registration at http://www.tera.org/peer/adultchildtk/actkwelcome.htm. The revised framework, panel membership, and additional meeting details will be posted on the website when they become available. Interested persons are encouraged to submit written technical comments for the panel's consideration. A specific time during the meeting will be set to allow any observers to ask clarifying technical questions or make comments. I retired from the full time faculty at Univ. of Nebraska medical center in 1996. Also, I write a regular column for the "Horn Call", the Journal of the International Horn Society. I am revisiting the question of "Brass poisoning". I did an extensive literature search and review of the clinical literature in the 1960s when I was a resident in Denver. I did not find any real evidence of "brass poisoning" as experienced by musicians using nonplated mouthpieces. Recently, I have had people ask me about Brass poisoning. I saw your line in Google. I would like to get your review of the problem. Thanks Glenn Glenn V. Dalrymple, M.D., FACR Adj Clinical Prof of Radiology and Radiation Oncology. I recently submitted my Ph. D. thesis and am looking for post doctoral position in well reputed lab to continue my research career on the subject. During my Ph. D. I worked on ?Role of garlic and carotenoids in isoniazid - rifampicin induced hepatic injury in rats?. The work has got great attention and resulted in several publications of international repute; explaining the role of dietary nutrients (garlic and carotenoids) in preventing hepatotoxicity in rats. From early interest in biological science, I had been inclined to perform research in the area of ? oxidative stress, antioxidants and cancer?. In this regard, during my Ph.D I had been fortunate enough to get experience of molecular, biochemical and cellular approaches of ?antioxidants?. I believe that using my knowledge about human biology, my past eight years of experience and with your guidance I can make significant contribution to the field, since I have great expertise on most of basic techniques. So this is the right thing for me to start my postdoctoral career and learn the insights of research. I am sending an application for the post of postdoctoral research fellow, if u have position in urs lab. I am highly interested in your research work and wish to join your research group. I am willing to work hard and contribute positively to your esteemed research group. I am sure that if given opportunity, I will leave nothing to prove my best. Please refer to my CV for your perusal. Thank you so much for your time and am looking forward for your positive reply --------------------------------- Looking for a deal? I would like to introducing myself, I am Dr. Md. Amzad Hossain, a Bangladeshi National. My specialty is on synthetic organic Chemistry (Flavonoids Chemistry) and Natural Products Chemistry (Isolation and Characterization of the chemical constituents of medicinal plant or fruits and vegetables such as flavonoids, terpenoids and caffeic acid derivatives; i.e. polyphenolic compounds). I have already finished my 2 years Visiting Post-Doctoral Fellowship on medicinal plant in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. I have also finished my doctoral degree on flavonoids chemistry. On the other hand, in my country I am working in the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission as a Principal Scientist on the same field. In addition, in my institute I am also working on the environmental chemistry on the identification and quantification of toxic polycyclic and polyphenolic organic compounds in vegetable, fish and drinking water and also on natural products chemistry. I have about 60 publications (both national and International Journals) is my credit on the same field. Now I am very much interested to perform more advanced research on the same field or any other related field. I have seen your on going research area is more related to my field. For your information, I am sending herewith my details bio-data with attached file for your kind consideration and necessary action. In this context, I am requesting your good selves to consider my appeal. Hence, I pray your highness to kindly grant my appeal and oblige thereby for which act of kindness I will be ever grateful to you. Looking forward to hearing from you as early as possible.
