The average length of the ethylenglycol chain is different, resulting in
different properties (cmc, \bar{m}, Kraft point). Remember that Tritons
are industrial detergents, that is wild mixtures of related compounds. For
crystallisation I'd prefer detergents with defined structure, e.g. C12E8
or the like.
