Hello
Can somebody tell me if I can use the XL1 or NEB5 alpha E coli for cloning
plasmids which will be used for digestion by enzymes that are sensitive to
Dam, Dcm and CG methylation. I know that these strains are not Dcm- ,Dam-
strains. However can I demethylate my isolated plasmid later on, for further
enzymatic digestion and how?
