Scientist: Protein Purification Specialist (JO 1021-MP)
We are seeking a PhD or MS level Scientist with strong recombinant Protein
Purification experience.
This person must have expertise in protein purification under cGMP
guidelines; s/he will lead the execution of varying purification protocols
within a cGMP facility.
Existing facility expanding to include a 2nd suite to run more than one
campaign at the same time.
Successful candidate will have a Ph.D., will have hands-on experience:
. With various forms of chromatography (affinity, exchange, HIC, ion, etc)
. Centrifugation and
. Tangential Flow Filtration/TFF, DiaFiltration/DF and/or
UltraFiltration/UF
. Worked in cGMP environment.
In addition, experience with aseptic techniques useful particularly in the
areas of eukaryotic cell culture and viral propagation.
Candidate must previous supervisory skills. Also, candidates must have
strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
PhD with ~ 2yrs preferably in Pharma/Biotech/Animal Health industries; will
consider core facility experience.
Or
MS with ~4 yrs preferably in Pharma/Biotech/Animal Health industries; will
consider core facility experience.
