UGENE is a free and open-source cross-platform bioinformatics software
package.
The version 1.3 adds 3 new plugins, prebuilt packages for Fedora and
Ubuntu systems and dozens of performance, usability and compatibility
improvements.
The new plugins are:
Workflow Designer: allows to create and run custom computational
workflows
SITECON: search for Transcription Factor Binding Sites (TFBS) in DNA
sequences
BioStruct3D: 3D molecular protein and DNA structure viewer for PDB
format
