[Arabidopsis] Asking whole mount in situ hybridization with seedling

Hi 

I am doing whole mount in situ hybridization with 2 day old seedling.

Every time, I got strong non-specific signals in mature regions of roots,
hypocotyls, and cotyledons. 

I am wondering it is common or there is some tip to reduce the non-specific
signals?
