These files make up the AFRC Molecular Biology Software Training document. The files are formatted for double-sided printing.
The chapters should be printed and assembled in the order:

APPXA.DOC
APPXB.DOC
APPXC.DOC
APPXD.DOC
If you prefer to use a master document, one is provided: MASTER.DOC which uses the file TOPOFMAS.DOC in place of CONTENTS.DOC.
The CONTENTS.DOC chapter was created by pasting the table of contents generated in MASTER.DOC and editing the page numbers generated for appendices A-D from 16-x to A-x, B-x etc.
The following postscript files are the diagrams for chapters 6 and appendix C included in the first release of this manual (September 1993). The postscript files have incorrect page numbers:
APPXC.PS
DAPJOB.PS - page 6-13, but numbered 6-15
FASTA.PS - page 6-7, but numbered 6-9
For the WORD version these images have been scanned from the postscript files (they have not been redrawn) and bitmap images created. The bitmap images are included in the WORD documents.
The command files (*.COM) are copies of the VAX DCL files that implement the GCLUSTALV, PROFILESEARCH and STRINGSEARCH facilities on AGRENET.
