Molecular Weight Calculation Software

Attached to this e-mail message titled as "MoleCalc.sea" is a
self-extracting archive file created with StuffIt Lite from Aladdin
Systems. Double click the MoleCalc.sea icon and the MoleCalc application
will be created in the selected folder. The MoleCalc application is fully
operational except that only elements with an atomic number of less than 10
can be selected in calculations. Please include this program for
distribution (see the About MoleCalc window from the Apple Menu for
distribution details). Upon receipt of order's from users, a serial number
will be faxed/e-mailed which will un-lock the demonstration version they

The program is a must for practicing chemists and students alike. Chemistry
teachers will appreciate the ability to demonstrate the importance of
significant figures and uncertainty in atomic weights. The program user
interface is not only extremely functional and intuitive, but very
aesthetically pleasing.

* Enter and display formulas using standard chemical notation with the
  ease of the Apple Macintosh graphical user interface
* Select constituent elements of compounds quickly using the standard
  "Periodic Table" layout via mouse clicks without the need for keyboard input

  Commission on Atomic Weights and Isotopic Abundances of the IUPAC
* Displays Hill formula for entered compound
* Displays weight percent or weight fraction of each constituent element of the
  entered compound
* Supports cut & paste for transfer of calculated results to other applications
  such as spreadsheets or wordprocessors
