MAXC will work with a mathchip if present, but one is not needed. Source code is not provided (forces people to talk with me, then good ideas passed on to everyone) For XTs to Pentiums. WINMAXC.EXE is a Windows 3.1 version of the DOS version. (runs under Win95 fine) (windows version does check for the "bad" pentium and corrects the math accordingly) Help file is extensive and covers nearly the entire written manual. Also available on floppy with more hardcopy manual for $10 to cover duplication and postage costs. You are free to copy and distribute as long as you do not change the main program or charge for more than dup costs.
